Our Mission

Our mission is to save as many dogs off the streets as well as dogs on euthanasia lists at shelters across Texas. We spay and neuter all dogs in hopes of reducing the number of unwanted dogs in our state. Our goal is to find them homes full of love and compassion.

We are currently put

We are currently putting intake at a halt, but not our adoptions! Adoptions are thankfully up again! Petfinder really slowed adoptions this year and it has really affected rescues. Funding is also down this year and rescues are feeling it.

We are in need of fosters as well. This is crucial to rescues keeping intake open. Even a two week foster would be a huge help!!! I will add some of our dogs in need of fosters. Of course we will find a dog that works best with your lifestyle and in your household. Please let us know if there’s any amount of time you’re able to Foster for. Again it could be one week two weeks or a month. It all helps!

Posting a few of our dogs that could use fosters.

WUWF pulled Caitrion

WUWF pulled Caitriona and her 5 puppies from Barc’s euthanasia list. Sadly they didn’t all make it. They came out of Barc and within a couple of days one of the puppies was already sick. Two of them have passed and poor mama did everything she could to take care of them. It’s just heartbreaking.

Parvo puppies cost rescues a lot of money. IV meds and fluids, antibiotics, anti nausea meds, and over night care.

Please, help us raise funds mama and her babies.
